About Every Meal Matters

Who am I?

I am a 30 year old food junkie from North Yorkshire. I love trying new recipes, finding new restaurants and most of all, eating delicious food. I can be equally excited by a Cadbury Trifle (obviously not the light version) or a Michelin Star meal – it just depends on what mood I am in. I moved to London in 2010 in search of a wider selection of restaurants, food markets and other food related fun.

My blog

I love hearing about other people’s food experiences and so I thought it would be fun to share some of mine and see if I can make some like-minded foodie friends along the way. I will tell you about the great restaurants I have been to, the fantastic recipes I have tried, tasty things I have eaten and any other food related things that I’m excited about.

Think of it as a website full of recommendations. If I cook something which is just ok or I go to a restaurant that I don’t love then you won’t be hearing about it on here. If I am ever lucky enough to be offered something for free (chance would be a fine thing!) the same rule will apply, if I don’t love it, it won’t be in the blog and if I do write about it, I will make it clear that it was a freebie.

Hope you enjoy. Let me know what you think.

Fabulous !!! read all with much joy ! now want to go to Bali though!! Well done on remembering the Marks out of 10 ! I am now “following” you. I’m trying to sign up on twitter as well but am confused by the technology. I will comment re my food too in due course.

  2. Wonderful blog. So glad you visited mine (The World’s Fare), so that I could find yours. I adore London (if you ever return to my blog, you would find a couple of posts there talking about how much I enjoy dining in London — and shopping for food). I very much enjoyed seeing some of your adventures (I enjoyed Vietnam, as well) as well as your London-based reviews (I get back often enough that it’s always good to have somewhere in mind for the next trip). Looks like you’ve enjoyed a fair number of splendid meals. Happy eating — and traveling. Cynthia

  3. Glad I stumbled across your blog! I also moved to London (from Australia!) in 2011 and have been loving checking out so many amazing foodie experiences here 🙂
